If my application is successful, how will I be assessed for a companion equine?
If you are successful with your application, assessments will need to be taken out before you can foster an equine. Assessments for companion equines are as follows:
- At least two visits to establish the relationship between the equine and the applicant. Collection can take place after at least two successful visits have taken place. Some equines may require more visits depending on their circumstances.
- Correct PPE as advised prior to the applicant assessment must be worn or the assessment will not be permitted to go ahead.
- Applicant assessments are to be a maximum of 60 minutes.
